Project Overview

First Solar has partnered with the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation to supply 250kW (AC) of solar power energy to Taliesin West as part of Energizing Taliesin WestTM. The solar panels will help Taliesin West achieve its goal of becoming a self-sustaining “net zero” energy customer, enabling it to produce as much energy annually as it consumes.

Project Benefits

First Solar's project assisted the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation in achieving their "net zero" initiative. The 4,000 solar panels will offset some of the costs associated with powering the site.

Community Commitment

The initiative that First Solar is a part of is expected to free up approximately $200,00 for the foundation to spend on programming and preservation efforts.
