Project Overview
Masdar City, UAE, home to the Middle East's largest photovoltaic (PV) power plant, prides itself on being the Middle East's greenest city. The Masdar City Power Plant is revolutionary in solar power generation because half of the solar power is supplied from First Solar thin film modules, while the other half of the power comes from traditional silicon-based solar panels.
Community Commitment
The project will be part of the Masdar Initiative, a multifaceted Abu Dhabi initiative to advance Masdar City, the world's first carbon-neutral, zero-waste city powered by renewable energy.
